Description
Position Description: Assist Division Administrator and Research Administrator with the Finance/Human Resource functions of the Division of Public Health; FINANCE: process payments to vendors and travel/non-travel reimbursements to employees and community partners; pull data from University systems to compile budget reports for sub-units and research teams; maintain Division Finance email inbox and categorize incoming mail; assist with completion of Pre-Trip authorizations and keep the Division Travel Database up-to-date with Division travel; process sub-award and Purchase Order invoices; scan in financial documentation and save in appropriate folder(s) on Division Admin shared drive. HUMAN RESOURCES: Manage and expedite the hiring process of all temporary, on-call and student hires; post temporary, on-call and student positions on various job platforms. Complete new hire tasks for all new hires, including support staff and faculty. Provide support in the interview process as needed. Assist new employees with New Hire Checklist, Net ID activation, setting up voicemail, computer login/email addresses. Maintain and update personnel files, active employee database, contact and phone lists and manage the HR email inbox. Manage terminations. Manage Relationship Violence & Sexual Misconduct Certificates and Performance Planning for each employee. Improve processes as necessary.
